G!RO jack of all trades, master of none, and proud owner of Curve’s Belgie V3 and DownRock! Having originally found cycling as a kid, racing around in the woods on mountain bikes found on eBay, my ‘proper’ cycling started around 8 years ago onboard my Dads 1970’s Steel Claud Butler, riding as far as possible with my mate Sam. Typically, we’d just ride way further than we should’ve been, until one of us bonked, both of us bonked or our bikes broke beyond repair. Nowadays, you’ll find me commuting regularly to and from G!RO, cafe cruising in my spare time and occasionally heading out to the trails near my home on the DownRock. With questionable dabbles in racing along the way, I’ve become addicted to the feeling of freedom, race fitness and those days where you feel invincible on the bike for hours on end.
Working with Curve at G!RO, and also owning a couple of their awesome bikes, has welcomed me into a community I am proud to be part of, full of inspiring people, all of whom are achieving amazing things particularly in the ULTRA world, of course all on the humble bicycle. It inspires me to keep tapping away, to keep spinning the pedals and all the good this brings both mentally and physically. Maybe this inspiration will transcend into even bigger challenges, longer rides and even a dip of the toe into the wonderful world of ULTRA. I’ll certainly have the tools for the job, thanks to the legends at CURVE!
