We've been working hard in the background to build inventory and increase our production runs across our entire product range. We've not only invested significantly in this area but have already close to 1,000 titanium frames in production, and our steel program, although suffering massive delays with Columbus, sees us with another 500 - 650 frames towards the back end of 2022. So, delays considered, we are well-positioned to continue to look after our dealer network and customer base, especially in titanium.
It's very unusual nowadays for a customer to approach a boutique, handmade bike brand like ours and hear that we have stock; it’s something we should be pretty proud of in the current climate. The team has worked tirelessly in the background, constantly managing the manufacturing and delivery of each part required to make one of our gorgeous bikes.
To think a bike comprises 25 different manufacturers all working together to make a singular bike is something you perhaps never had to think about. Still, it’s a constant juggling act as the team manages ever-changing lead times anywhere from 100 - 500 days. It is something that keeps me up at night, and I'm reminded of that saying, "as we turn 25 and above, we no longer need an alarm to wake us, for our problems will wake us by force!".
That being said, this is such a happy occasion to celebrate. Not only do we have a good stock of Belgie and Belgie ULTRA framesets, but we do have stock for complete bikes running Sram Rival AXS 2x12 and Sram Force AXS 2x12. I am sure the two price points will be well received, and coupled with the short turnaround, we will likely clear this batch quickly! So if you are thinking of your next road or endurance road machine, do get in touch. We can fulfill any new ULTRA or Belgie Disc order by the end of February, early March. Isn't that great? The lead times are generous and make allowances for the current workload assembly in Taiwan and our current order book, plus the consideration of Christmas is just around the corner. DHL Express has, however, seen orders arrive within 7-10 days of collection, which is pretty incredible in the current climate.
