It will perform perfectly well with a wide slick road tyre as an endurance road bike, but the Ultra+ gives you the versatility for a lot more.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eCompared with the much-loved Ultra, tyre clearance is up: \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e40 mm with fenders and 45 mm without. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe frame is still designed to handle \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003emid-compact 2x groupsets\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e,\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eeven with the improved tyre clearance.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe geometry has also been reworked carefully across the size range. The geometry for each size has been agonised over. On the smallest sizes, close attention has been paid to toe-overlap without adversely affecting handling. On the largest sizes, the front end has been relaxed for a more natural riding position.
